You should view OBA as a family of virtual lawyers. At OBA, you can,
● BUILD YOUR NETWORK ANDWith fellow law students and lawyers who highly value the ability to practice law from anywhere in the world.
● COLLABORATEWith leading thinkers, visionaries and legal pioneers in virtual teams and the Law 2.0 world.
● DEVELOP AND ENHANCE YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILLSIn a virtual environment as well as at live events, seminars and meetings. OBA provides you with opportunities to develop leadership skills in the Law 2.0 environment, as well as public speaking skills.

One of the most challenging aspects of having an online and mobile law practice is the lack of face-to-face contact and support. Some attorneys give up on their dream to work from wherever they want because they eventually develop "cabin fever". At OBA, friendship is at the center of everything we do together, both online as well as in our conferences and local events and focus groups. You will have opportunities to meet and develop strong friendships with fellow OBA members through local chapter meetings, national events and international conventions You can have as much face-to-face contact and support as you wish.

The Online Bar Association (OBA) is a new global private membership organization of lawyers who practice online or want to learn how. The OBA’s main focus is on building authentic and rewarding relationships with other peers interested in using more open and dynamic virtual firm models. We know from experience that collaboration can be much more powerful when it is based on authentic relationships.
