The Online Bar Association (OBA) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy for our web site users and our membership. The following paragraphs disclose our information gathering and dissemination practices. Membership Registration Form and Surveys:
Our site's registration form, event registration forms and surveys require you to give us contact information (like name, address and email address) and other information such as practice related information. We use this information to contact you about the OBA, our activities, events and products. We do not sell or rent e-mail addresses to anyone outside the OBA. From time to time, OBA may make available a membership directory to its members.  Prior to including your membership data, your consent will be requested.  If you do not wish to share your membership information with other OBA members in a directory, please click here and complete the form to be exclude your information from the membership directory.  
 
If you wish to be removed from our e-mail mailings, please click here and complete the form to remove your e-mail address from our list.   This will not remove your information from any third party social networks, such as Linked In or Facebook.  To be removed from any such third party social networks, please follow their instructions. 
 
Public Forums:
At the moment, our online forums are hosted by third parties such as Linked In and Facebook, and privacy is governed by their respective privacy policies.   Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.
